rubber stamps make your own

It's been a while since I made a birthday card with my art seals. I've been using my Cricut Expression machine to make my greeting cards lately and I wanted to go back and use some of my rubber stamps craft I have, and boy have stamps craft. One day I will post some pictures of all the stamps of the boats that I have.
Anyway, for this card birthday I wanted to share with you first, a very nice art stamps, some cool rubber stamping techniques and all this while I'm making a card birthday for my father in law. When I was at home in March, I took him to his first craft rubber stamp convention. I could not believe how many different stamps vessels had and how many women were at a convention center. It was great and we find some special rubber stamps craft, so I thought I would show what can be created using some rubber stamping techniques I've learned over the years.
I love craft stamps pertaining to cats, and this particular stamp reminds me of my cat craft Tapioca. He is so cute.
What is needed:
Cat craft stamps (stamps Judith)
Feeling – Happy Birthday ~ Perfectly Clear craft stamps (Stampendous)
Black StazOn Solvent Ink Pad
Watercolor pencils (Loew-Cornell)
Water Brush
Flower Pot hole punch (Emaginations)
Paper Stampin 'Up: Really Rust, Sage Shadow, Banana and Basic Black only. I have no idea where I got the white card.
Points emerging tape row
How do is as follows:
First cut all the cards above to get the look of multiple layers that I wanted for this card.
Then the seal of craft stamps cat picture with my Black StazOn ink pad. Then I put the embossing powder on wet ink and heat set.
The reason for using solvent ink and embossing is that now I will use my colored pencils on watercolor image and I did not want to run in black ink colors.
I pencils Watercolor, with my water brush, the color of the cat and the stem and leaves. Then use another of my great techniques rubber seal and was the flower color with a marker highlighted and then put the powder into relief. Using my heat gun was then the flower has a glossy finish.
I perforated brown paper pot. I put the pop points just on the edge of the pot, and then used my tape runner to the bottom of the pot. I wanted to give a three dimensional look as the cat was sitting on the pot.
Then I used Tulip Stitch point color paint to make the earth. I really the rim to get the effect that the cat was in the boat. I again used my heat gun to fix the paint and make it look uneven inflation. (When I was cleaning my craft cupboard a few months ago I met all these Tulip paintings and crafts all my stamps and I wanted to start using them for fun projects like this one).
For the interior I used one of my stamps craft perfectly sealed clear and happy birthday. Nice and simple.
I almost forgot, I finished him off with a black and white ribbon tied around his neck for a fun look for my cat.
I hope you like the card as they use boats stamps we bought together. Of course there were a lot of fun making it. I think now I had so much fun with this card I will start using more of the collection of my ship stamps for the upcoming birthdays and holidays.
Hope you enjoyed too!
